Senior Banquet

All families of graduation seniors are welcome to attend our 1st Annual Senior Banquet!

All immediate families of Graduating Seniors are invited to our First Annual Senior Banquet! We have more than 15 graduating seniors this year and want to celebrate the class of 2024 in a special way!

Dinner will be provided, there will be an encouraging message given by Pastor Elizabeth, a time of prayer over our seniors, and then a final commission as we encourage them to go out into the world to boldly follow God's plan for their life!

Formal entire is encouraged!

The Mercy Team

You are welcome to join us at our next meeting Monday, May 6th. at 7pm! Come and see how you can assume a vital role in our acts of compassion in the church and our community! We are always looking for new faces!

The Mercy Team is the core of missional and outreach programs. This team leads our congregation in the many ways we serve the community.

The Mercy Team believes that God has prepared good works in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). We know that the journey of following Jesus includes caring for the people he loves. So, we look for opportunities to encourage one another, individually and corporately, to outbursts of love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).

Our focus is on meeting needs in our community both through planned projects and taking care of incidental situations as they arise. We enjoy several connections throughout the Flushing school system which allow us to plan and respond in helpful ways. We are also privileged to be part of the Flushing Christian Outreach Center.

Midweek Dinner and Discipleship

Join us Wednesdays, May 1-29, from 5:45-8:00 pm.

Everyone is invited to mid-week dinner and discipleship at Boost this spring! Join us Wednesdays, May 1-29. Dinner will be available starting at 5:45 pm each evening, with our study time from 6:30-8:00 pm.

This season, adults will be studying With, a reimagining of the way we relate to God. Religion offers particular ways of relating to God, but do these ways lead us to approach him with the right perspective? How much of our attitude toward God is skewed by fear and a desire for control? In this study, we'll explore four popular but flawed postures--life under God, over God, from God, and for God--and discover how they all fall short of the biblical vision of life with God which leads us to freedom and restoration.

In addition, teens (grades 6-12) will be walking through the book of Philippians to see how Paul lived joyfully in the midst of persecution and encourages us to follow Jesus no matter what life throws at us. Kids (grades 1-5) will be exploring Pool Party and learning what a difference Jesus can make when we dive into him. Childcare will also be provided for those in kindergarten and younger.

Club 56 Bible Study

Club 56 Bible Study Sundays from 5-6 starting January 14.

Start the new year off in God's Word! All 5th & 6th graders are invited to join our first Bible Study! We will meet Sunday nights from 5-6pm starting January 14. Our study is called Our Faith where we will learn what we believe, why we believe it, and have room for questions and discussion. The cost is $5 to help pay for the student books which every kid will keep.

Do you enjoy learning about the story of Jesus? Do you enjoy competing with other kids and traveling around Eastern Michigan? Join Bible Quizzing where we will be studying the book of Matthew and competing against others around Eastern Michigan at our meets every other month from October-April. Kid City at 9am will be digging deeper into the book of Matthew this school year and there will be quizzing practice Sunday nights from 5:30-6:30 to further learn, practice, and have fun!

The Gathering is designed for us to come together for great conversation around the Bible and life. Join us in person or online at 9:00 Sunday mornings Mar. 10-May 12, for The Character of God. Exodus 34:6-7 is quoted and adapted by biblical authors more than any other passage in the Bible. In this study by Bible Project, we'll walk through these verses and discover what it means for God to describe himself as “compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, overflowing with loyal love and faithfulness.” Everyone is invited to learn and grow with us!

Our resource center is a great place to find materials to help you grow on your faith journey: non-fiction and fiction books, book and video studies for personal or group use, Bible study tools, and more! We also welcome donations of gently used resources for consideration to keep our library growing. We have an easy-to-use check out system that allows you to borrow our materials then return them to be a blessing to others. The resource center is located across from our cafe.
