We are excited to partner with David Smith to run the Boston Marathon - right here in the Flushing area!
He is doing this to take back the term "Social Distancing." "I'm going to run my 'distance' for a 'social' cause I care about," David says in his Facebook video! He is setting up a way you can raise funds for Carriage Town Ministries in Flint. Check back here for more details as they become available. For now, mark your calendars for April 20 and get ready to cheer on David toward his goal of 26.2 miles for social distance impact!

During these strange and uncertain days of COVID-19 and self-isolation, we would like to offer an opportunity for you to stay connected: Pop-up Small Groups! We are creating a space where we can share our concerns and encourage one another, whether you are already in a Life Group, or not.
We are making a list of all attendees of Flushing Community Church who work in the medical industry caring for patients.
No matter what your roll is, we want to pray for you daily and for those you work with! Please fill out this short form so that we can intercede for you! Thank you for all you do to keep our community healthy and safe - we know you've been doing this for a long time - but today we've never been more thankful!
Social gatherings may be postponed, but connectedness is not! This year, the 6K is going virtual to keep participants safe against COVID-19, while still providing necessary clean water to families in need.
You can run or walk in your neighborhoods, parks, or treadmills. No matter how you reach the distance of 6k – walk, run, or hike – you pick the pace and the place.
On May 16th, run or walk a 6k and join thousands of others across the world to provide clean water for those who need it. Thanks to World Vision, each registration provides access to clean water for one person in the developing world - for life. Everyone deserves to be able to wash their hands, which isn’t possible without clean water.
When you register, your shirt, medal, and bib will be mailed directly to you.
Come together for great conversation around the Bible and life.

Stop in and check out our growing library!
Our resource center is a great place to find materials to help you grow on your faith journey: non-fiction and fiction books, book and video studies for personal or group use, Bible study tools, and more! We also welcome donations of gently used resources for consideration to keep our library growing. We have an easy-to-use check out system that allows you to borrow our materials then return them to be a blessing to others. The resource center is located across from our cafe. Stop in and take a look around.
