Welcome to FCCN!

We're glad you've come to visit our website, and we hope that you'll find what you need here. We encourage you to join us at weekly worship, currently offered at 10:30 each Sunday. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or just drop in at church next Sunday.

Back To School Backpacks

We have many backpacks that need to go home with you and be returned filled for the underprivleged children in Flushing!  All filled backpacks are due back on Sunday Aug 29 with the supplies listed for you.  The Mercy Team appreciates your willingness to get involved in this great program!  More info about the Mercy Team and the Backpacks project is available at the Welcome Center, or from this info flier.

Mobile Food Pantry

The next Mobile Food Pantry will take place on Wednesday Sep 1 at Westwood Heights trailer park in Flint.  Setup begins at 9:00 am; carpooling will leave the church at 8:45.  See Bob Coe if you have any questions about this project

Project Be

Are you interested in "going to church" or in "being the church"?  We hope both.  From Sunday, August 29 thru September 5, Flushing Community Church will be calling you to BE the church by putting your faith into ACTION!  Our Mercy Team is looking for projects that we can go out into the community during that week and make a real difference!  We need your project ideas and we need YOU to BE the church!  Check out our Project Be page for PICTURES and more information or see Pastor Terry or Bob Coe with questions and ideas!

A Weekend to Remember

Family Life Ministries has several marriage conferences coming to our area.  "A Weekend to Remember" is a powerful experience for any married or engaged couple.  This conference is coming to Detroit and Chicago (Sept), Fort Wayne (Nov), and Grand Rapids (Mar 11).  Visit FamilyLife.com for conference details

Fresh Produce Welcomed

As your gardens produce an abundance, consider donating your extras to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center.  Drop off your contributions on the porch at any time.  The Center is located on McKinley Rd (just north of downtown)

Save the date for Flushing Christian Outreach Center's annual Benefit Dinner / Auction.  This will be taking place here at Flushing Community Church on Oct 23

Email Newsletters

We have recently begun a new email program to improve our ability to communicate with our members and friends.  We are now emailing a periodic newsletter to those addresses which we have on file.  If you have NOT received a newsletter yet, and would like to, please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up (or email Mary Ann Korte at korte.mary@gmail.com).  If you'd like to opt out of the newsletters and receive yours through the mail, you may indicate that preference as well

Online Contributions

Did you know that you can send contributions to FCCN using your online banking service??  Many banks offer online bill pay and only require an address for the organization you wish to support.  Visit your bank's website and see how this can work for you or see Rich Christopher (FCCN Treasurer) with any questions
